The Dutch based RAC Racing Team will compete in the 2013 IDM Superbike Championship with Australian Damian Cudlin and young Dutch talent, Kevin Valk.

Aboard RAC prepared BMW S1000RR’s, the pair will be hunting for success in the IDM Superbike Championship as well as a number of races in the ONK Superbike Championship in 2013.

After Cudlin’s stellar performance as a replacement rider at the last round of the IDM Championship at Hockenheim (where he secured pole position and won the event), the team is very pleased to have the experienced Australian join the team for the entire 2013 season.

Cudlin will be joined at RAC Racing by Kevin Valk; the talented rider from Dronten who surprised many during his first season in the Dutch Superbike class. His strong performances there made him a serious contender for the Dutch title and now the 19 year old feels ready to step up to the IDM for the first time.

With the signings of Cudlin and Valk, the RAC Racing Team is convinced that they have a team that can fight for both the IDM Superbike and the Dutch Superbike Championships.

Damian Cudlin:

“I’m really pleased to have secured a place in the RAC Racing Team. After working together for the first time in Hockenheim, I realized that this was the team I wanted to ride for in 2013. They are a great team of people with a very competitive machine and they share the same approach to racing as I do; we both want to win! I’m also proud to be part of such a worthy foundation in RAC- Racing Against Cancer- who help kids and their families during such a rough time. Hopefully, I can also help to put a smile on their faces by winning more races together next season!”
